International cooperation within CMA Pays de la Loire

CMA Pays de la Loire is involved in several international cooperation projects (under the Erasmus+ KA2 program and other national and international programs) with different European organizations to develop new skills, tools, and practices related to mobility and our vocational training sectors.

Erasmus + project : VET Ready 4 Mobility

This Erasmus+ cooperation project is coordinated by the CMA Pays de la Loire, with four other European partners from Spain, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. Its objective is to develop digital mobility support tools for :

  • Hosting organizations: online training prior to hosting foreign learners, digital mobility support timelines.

  • VET learners wishing to go abroad: interactive digital maps featuring potential host structures and former participants, installation kits, and health and safety training.

Erasmus + project: BelongVET

This European cooperation project includes partners from Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Estonia, and France. It aims to analyze the integration difficulties in vocational training centers faced by young people with fewer opportunities (those from immigrant backgrounds, facing socio-economic difficulties, etc.) and to co-construct a pedagogical module to support their integration.

Erasmus+ EQAMOB III project

The EQAMOB III project is coordinated by the Icelandic organization IDAN and brings together partners from Denmark, Austria, and France. It aims to create a quality assurance framework that recognizes the commitment of companies to VET learner mobility. This new project aims to integrate inclusion and environmental protection criteria, with the ambition of creating a European community of certified structures involved in mobility.

CMA NUM - Action 3 – Hybrid and virtual mobilities

This project aims to build capacity, experiment with, and scale up virtual and hybrid mobility projects (remote exchanges between groups of French and international learners and staff related to apprenticeship themes). Support tools for implementing virtual and hybrid mobility projects are also developed to help new groups to launch such initiatives.

Erasmus+ ETI  Chef project

Within the framework of European strategies for media literacy, ethics, and "netiquette" in culinary training, the Etichef project aims to develop tools (interactive guides, workshops, online escape games, etc.) to fight disinformation and risky digital practices (use of social media, AI, etc.) in the food industry. Through this program, Italian, Spanish, Slovenian, and French partners wish to strengthen awareness and develop digital, critical, and ethical skills for VET trainers and learners in the culinary sector.

Erasmus+ EduClimate Project

Through the creation of an interactive application and the development of resources for training centers, the EduClimate project—bringing together partners from the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and France—aims to raise awareness among VET stakeholders regarding climate change and its reality. Providing access to training, awareness activities and practical exercises on climate change will support the objectives of the European Green Deal.

My Apprenticeship in Europe Project (MONA)

Logo France 2030Logo MONAPart of the "Compétences et métiers d'avenir - France 2030" investment program in connection with some forty VET structures in France (including CMA Pays de la Loire) and led by Euro App Mobility, this project aims to develop long-term international mobility (2 to 12 months) for apprentices within their vocational training curriculum. Dozens of learners have already completed an international mobility (outgoing/incoming) thanks to this project.

In recent years, the CMA Pays de la Loire has also coordinated and participated in numerous other European cooperation projects :

  • Erasmus+ ETN4VET Project : aimed at exchanging pedagogical practices in the electric and hybrid vehicle mechanics sector with ten training centers across Europe.

  • Erasmus+ Skills 4 Future Project : a partnership between Romania and France aimed at exchanging practices and developing pedagogical tools for entrepreneurship and digital technology in vocational training.

  • Erasmus+ Mobilitimeline Project : the Mobilitimeline online platform for all VET learners and mobility coordinators in Europe to structure a pedagogical support and administrative resources for their mobility projects. You can find the online platform and all the resources on www.mobilitimeline.eu !

  • Erasmus+ ENVIRASMUS Project : you can find all these awareness-raising tools on eco-responsible practices for apprentices before and during their international mobility projects at www.envirasmus.eu (a mobile application is also available for download).

The CMA Pays de la Loire also coordinates other international cooperation projects with partners outside Europe (Benin, Congo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, India, Togo) to build capacity of learners, trainers and artisans in various fields (mechanics, food, building, entrepreneurship…).
